
The Children’s Emergency Resource Center (CERC) is a youth shelter program that provides immediate, short-term housing and support services for children and adolescents aged 0-17 who are experiencing homelessness, abuse, neglect, or other crises.
The Safety Center is a youth emergency shelter program that provides temporary, sage housing and support services for high-risk you who are awaiting permanent placement. These youth may include those in foster care, experiencing homelessness, or transitioning from the juvenile justice system. Referrals to the Safety Center are made directly from the Oklahoma Department of Human Services.
Residents served are individuals experiencing abuse, neglect, homelessness, or family conflict and / or high-risk youth in need of immediate stabilization while awaiting long-term solutions such as foster care group homes, or reunification with family.

Emergency shelter with 24/7 access, offering a secure and nurturing environment. Age appropriate accommodations to meet the needs of infants, children, and teens.

Nutritious meals, clothing, hygiene supplies, and medical care. Access to mental health and trauma-informed care as needed.

Individualized care plans to address the unique needs of each youth. Support in navigating social services, healthcare, education, and family reunification when possible.

On-site or referral-based counseling services to address trauma, mental health, and behavioral challenges. Group or individual therapy sessions tailored to youth development.

Support for continued education, including tutoring or school enrollment. Life skills training, such as financial literacy, conflict resolution, and job readiness for age-appropriate youth.

Assistance with placement in foster care, long-term housing, or transitions living programs for youth aging out of the system Advocacy for youth in legal and social service systems.
